Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr S. Aliyev / Azerbaijan is proposing to use oil processing plants in East Europe, Azerbaijani Industry and Energy Minister, Natik Aliyev, reported.
"We have received several proposals and they have to be considered by the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR). The proposals from Romania, Bulgaria, and Ukraine are among them. Moreover, Ukraine is ready to provide its processing plants to use in different property forms, such as property, stock, rent or lease," Aliyev said.
Proposals have also been received by Poland. They were announced in particular during the visit of Azerbaijani President, Ilham Aliyev, to Krakow for participation in the Energy Summit.
If we do not use the opportunities to enter the main European market with our oil products, we will lose big money. This is a very complicated process. We have to calculate the economic efficiency of the projects, the Minister noted.
