Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / From January-June, the Baku-based oil refineries, part of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic(SOCAR) - the Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery Plant (formerly Azerneftyanacag) and Azerneftyag, refined 3,889,570 tons of oil, that is 6.1% more than the corresponding period of 2006.
According to the State Statistics Committee, during this period the production of motor-petrol grew by 24.5%, kerosene by 5.6%, oil bitumen by 29.6% and naphtha by 49.2%. Production of mazut, diesel fuel and lubricants decreased.
