The value of money transfers to Kazakhstan in period of January-April 2019 amounted to 116.7 billion tenge, which is 41.3 percent more than during the same period of last year, Trend reports referring to Ranking.kz.
In turn, the number of transactions increased by 29.1 percent and equaled to 529,200 trensfers. The average sum of transaction via international money transfer systems increased to 220,600 tenge.
Russia is leader by value of transfers to Kazakhstan (50.6 billion tenge). During January-April 2019 the value of money transfers from Russia increased by 37.9 percent, compared to the same period of last year.
The number of transfers increased by 31.7 percent and equaled 271,800, whereas the average sum of transfer increased by 4.7 percent and amounted to 186,100.
Russia is closely followed by South Korea with value of transfers of 20.6 billion tenge, which is 63.3 percent more than in the same period of previous year.
The number of transfers increased by 51.5 percent and stood at 54,100 transfers. The average sum of transfer increased to 381,500 tenge.
Another leader by value of transfers to Kazakhstan is Uzbekistan. Some 10.1 billion tenge were sent from this country, which is 70.1 percent more than during the same period of last year. The number of transfers increased by 44.3 percent and amounted to 28,000. The average sum of transfer, in turn, stood at 360,700 tenge.
KoronaPay is leader by value of transfers among via international money transfer systems (56.2 billion tenge, +47.2 percent). The average sum of transfer amounted to 253,300 tenge.
Western Union is second by value of transfers to Kazakhstan (24.9 billion tenge, +13.4 percent). The average sum of transfer stood at 189,000 tenge.
The third system by value of transfers to Kazakhstan is MoneyGram (14.3 billion tenge, +111.6 percent). The average sum of transfer increased to 289,200 tenge.
