As of September 2019, the biggest share of credit investments in Azerbaijan accounted for those in the household sector, amounting to 44.2 percent.
The volume of loans in the household sector increased by 24.6 percent (over 1.2 billion manat or $705.8 million) and reached over 6.3 billion manat ($3.7 billion) compared to the same period of last year.
The volume of loans in the sphere of trade and the services sector increased by 14.8 percent (308.7 million manat or $181.6 million) and reached over 2.4 billion manat ($1.4 billion) compared to the same period of last year; the share of the total volume of credit investments in the real sector amounted to 16.7 percent.
The volume of loans in the field of transport and communications amounted to over 1.2 billion manat ($705.8 million), which is 8.2 percent of a total volume of loans in the real sector. This figure decreased by 9.4 percent or 121.4 million manat ($71.4 million) for the year.
