The balance of bank loans in Iran increased by 20.1 percent during the first eleven months from March 21, 2019 to Feb. 19, 2020 of the last Iranian year, compared to the same period of the preceding year, Trend reports referring to the Central Bank of Iran (CBI).
The balance of deposits increased by 27.5 percent, compared to the same period of the preceding year.
The table below presents balance of loans, foreign currency deposits of banks and financial institutions for the reported eleven-month period, according to the official exchange rate ($1=42,000 rials):
