Azerbaijan's state budget revenues through State Customs Committee greatly increase

BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 21

The state budget revenues through the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee amounted to 4.4 billion manat ($2.6 billion) in 2019, Trend reports referring to the Azerbaijani Chamber of Accounts.

The income obtained through the State Customs Committee in 2019 exceeds those in 2018 by 974.6 million manat ($573.3 million) or 28.4 percent.

The share of the country's state budget revenues through the State Customs Committee increased by 2.9 percentage points compared to 2018 and amounted to 18.2 percent.

In the structure of income of the State Customs Committee for the reporting year, the share of VAT has reached 68.1 percent while the share of customs duties is 25.2 percent.

The state budget revenues through the State Customs Committee are formed in four spheres: customs duties, value added tax (VAT), excise tax and road tax.
