Azerbaijan sees decrease in volume of population's deposits

As of early December 2020, the volume of credit investments in Azerbaijan has reached 14.3 billion manat ($8.4 billion), Trend reports on Dec. 25 with reference to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).

This indicator shows a decrease compared to the beginning of the year by four percent.

A three percent decrease was observed compared to the same period of the previous year.

The deposits of the population as of December 1, 2020, are estimated at 7.9 billion manat ($4.6 billion), which is by 8.4 percent less compared to the beginning of this year.

A decline of 8.9 percent is observed compared to the same period of last year.

The volume of bank deposits of the Azerbaijani population, including the funds of individuals engaged in individual entrepreneurship, amounted to 7.9 billion manat ($4.6 billion) as of early November 2020.

This figure shows a decline in annual terms by 10.7 percent.
