Average annual inflation in Azerbaijan for 2M2021 revealed

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) in Azerbaijan grew by 3.7 percent from January through February 2021 compared to the same period of 2020, Trend reports on Mar.15 referring to the Azerbaijani State Statistical Committee.

According to the committee, the CPI for food, drinks, and tobacco products rose by 4.9 percent, non-food products - by 3.6 percent, and the paid services to the population - by 2.3 percent.

The CPI in the country grew by 1.6 percent in February this year compared to January 2021, and by 4.2 percent compared to February 2020.
