Investments in Iran’s Markazi Province increase

The amount of investments made in enterprises in the Markazi Province (central Iran) increased by 418 percent during the first four months of the current Iranian year (from March 21 through July 22, 2021), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Deputy Chairman of Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of Markazi Province Adil Lohrasbi said, Trend reports citing the organization.

According to him, a total of 32.4 trillion rials (about $771 million) were invested in the enterprises within the mentioned period.

The deputy chairman added that 105 enterprises were put into operation over the 4 months and 1,320 people were provided with jobs as a result.

“While in the 4th month of the current Iranian (June 22 through July 22, 2021), 10.4 trillion rials (about $248 million) were invested in the province. As a result, 39 new enterprises were put into operation and 385 people were employed,” he said.

Lohrasbi noted that the largest number of enterprises was put into operation in Arak, Saveh and Zarandieh counties of the province. While the most amount of investments were made in the Saveh County.
