BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 29. Pension savings of contributors (recipients) amounted to 13.9 trillion ($29.2 billion) as of September 1 in Kazakhstan, having increased by 306.2 billion tenge ($641.9 million), or by 2.2 percent, Trend reports citing the National Bank of Kazakhstan.

The net revenue from investing into pension savings has increased by 193.9 billion tenge ($406.4 million) over August, amounting to 7.6 trillion tenge ($15.9 billion) as of September 1, 2022.

The number of individual pension accounts of contributors for compulsory pension amounted to 10.9 million accounts as of September 1, 2022. The amount of pension payments amounted to 34 billion tenge ($71.2 million) in August 2022.

The main share of the total investment portfolio of Unified Accumulative Pension Fund (UAPF) as of September 1, 2022 accounts for government securities and non-government securities of issuers (46.2 percent and 21.2 percent of total pension assets, respectively).

Unified Accumulative Pension Fund (UAPF) carries out its activities strictly within the framework determined by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Fund aims to maintain high standards of corporate governance, regularly publishes information on the state of depositors accounts and its current financial condition in open information sources.
