BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 7. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has become a member of the recently established “Turkic Council on Green Finance," Trend reports.
In a dynamic collaboration, the CBA, led by Chairman Taleh Kazimov, engaged in a pivotal event in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic, during the 11th summit of the Organization of Turkic States. This strategic gathering culminated in the signing of a memorandum aimed at launching the "Turkic Council on Green Financing," fostering innovative partnerships among member countries to drive sustainable development and green initiatives.
In alignment with the Memorandum executed among the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, Astana International Financial Center, Kyrgyz Stock Exchange, and Turkish Securities Authority, the Council's primary mission is to deliver cutting-edge advisory and consultancy services to its members.
This initiative aims to catalyze the advancement of green and sustainable finance while fostering investments that are mindful of environmental, social, and governance considerations.
