A total of 27,500 radio-electronic devices have been registered in Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijani Communications and IT Ministry's State Radio Frequencies Department said.
Roughly 26,000 radio-electronic devices were registered early this year.
The department has registered 297 enterprises and organizations. Eighty-eight are public, 183 are commercial and 26 are foreign.
Equipment designed for civil use operating at various frequencies must be endorsed by the ministry and registered by the department.
