Both subscribers and operators benefit as a result of moving to the money tariffing system, Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technologies Iltimas Mammadov said.
He said that increasing of the operators' subscriber's base will depend on the quality of their services at more affordable prices.
"Passing to the system allowed significantly reduce the tariffs for the services provided by the operator," he said. "The contour system can not control costs."
There are three mobile operators Bakcell, Azercell and Azerfon in Azerbaijan.
Beginning from May 1, Azercell cancelled a contour system for its pre-paid-subscribers. Another step in this direction should be expected from Bakcell Company. It announced about the full transition to a system of money tariffing system on May 5.
