The anti-radar coating developed by scientists of Azerbaijan’s High Technologies Research Center, will be tested on unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), the center told Trend May 22.
According to the Center, negotiations were held with Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defense regarding testing the material in the field.
“The ministry expressed its readiness to provide the necessary conditions for carrying out the tests, which we expect will be held soon,” said the Center.
This is an anti-radar coating developed on the basis of carbon nanotubes, which can be applied as a special mixture to the surface of the protected object, which makes it invisible for most radar systems.
The mixture can be used both for anti-radar protection of UAVs and other military equipment.
