Inha University in Tashkent (IUT) will host the Google I/O Extended IUT conference for the fourth time on May 19, 2018, the university's press service said on May 15.
The conference is aimed at attracting representatives of the IT community of Uzbekistan and familiarizing them with the most up to date concepts of Google's innovative solutions.
The Google Developer Groups (GDG) project will be realized within the framework of the conference for the first time. The project was created in February 2018 by IUT students. The university and a number of other organizations in Uzbekistan supported the project.
Over 200 students from various universities of Uzbekistan and developers are expected to take part in the conference.
During the day, the conference participants will participate in presentations, lectures and programming sessions.
Leading experts in the field of information technologies and start-up projects of Uzbekistan confirmed their participation in the conference.
Students interested in participating in the conference can register on the official webpage of the event.
Google I/O is Google's annual developer conference to discuss development of open technologies and Google services such as Android, Chrome, Chrome OS, Google APIs, Google Web Toolkit, App Engine etc.
Inha University in Tashkent has been hosting the Google I/O conference since 2015. IUT students are active participants of this conference. They also take part in organization of the event.
