Baku, Azerbaijan, Oct. 23

By Huseyn Veliyev – Trend:

By the end of the first half of November, the Rabitabank OJSC plans to launch the “Card to Card” service, Elmir Aliyev, the bank’s Marketing Director, told Trend Oct. 23.

Aliyev noted that the service will be provided to the bank’s customers via Telegram and Facebook messengers.

"In parallel with this, we are currently making changes, so that users can use the same interface in the environment of messengers, online banking, mobile banking, in particular in their desktop versions," Aliyev said.

Rabitabank was the first to launch a targeted bot product to serve its customers via Telegram and Facebook instant messengers, which allowed the bank to collect leads. Users can place orders and view information without leaving the Facebook messenger. The Telegram messenger, in turn, provides the bank with more advanced API functions.

Rabitabank has connected its hardware and software part of the service to Telegram, which allowed the bank's customers to receive payment requests, find out the card balance and check the latest transactions for the month.

All these operations can be carried out without leaving Telegram. In order to do this, it is just enough to enter the identification data and the plastic card data.

The advantage of bots is that the bot is available around the clock and all operations occur as quickly as possible. Currently, the users are ordering plastic cards and credits via bots. It is also possible to find out the location of ATMs, branches of the bank and learn about promotional campaigns.
