Uzbekistan may implement Singapore's educational online platform

Singapore company Sixclouds will open an office in Uzbekistan and will promote its educational platform in the country as well as other commercial projects, the Ministry of Public Education of Uzbekistan said.

According to the information, the Ministry of Education held a meeting with a delegation of the Sixclouds company headed by CEO and founder Richard Woon.

The Singapore delegation presented its educational platform, which is now used in Singapore, Malaysia and China.

Benson Lek, the chief development officer at Sixclouds, noted that the IGNITE online platform used in Sixclouds is based on the Singapore educational model.

Lek stressed that the IGNITE platform is aimed at the organization of out-of-school education for children and currently offers programs for learning English and mathematics. He noted that these two subjects are important for the successful future of children. The platform can be used on any mobile device or computer.

During the negotiations, representatives of the Ministry of Education and the Sixclouds discussed promising areas of cooperation in the provision of quality educational services to the population of Uzbekistan through the introduction of IT technologies.
