BAKU, Azerbaijan, Dec.11
By Sadraddin Aghjayev - Trend:
Azerbaijan’s AzEduNet is ready to deploy an educational intranet network in liberated lands of Azerbaijan, Director of AzEduNet Natiq Yahyayev told Trend.
According to Yahyayev, the company's future plans depend on the primary internet provider, as well as on the construction of infrastructure in the liberated territories.
“In the near future, we’re going to place our equipment in all automatic telephone exchanges in the liberated territories. Educational institutions in the liberated territories will be connected to the educational network mainly by three types of connection. This is an optical connection, a radio link, LTE/4G,” he added.
According to the company’s director, at the initial stage of the project, schools in hard-to-reach areas are planned to be provided with a wireless network, after which fiber optics will be gradually carried out.
In the future, we will transfer educational institutions to an optical connection, said Yahyayev.
At the same time, if there is a need to send a staff of employees to the liberated territories, the number of employees of the company will be increased as soon as necessary, said the director.
“We don’t foresee any difficulties regarding the possible secondment of our employees. AzEduNet has enough resources to service the educational network, both in Baku and in the districts, retaining the quality of service at the highest level. AzEduNet is ready to provide the liberated territories with an internet network,” the company’s director stressed.
AzEduNet, as an ICT service provider or system integrator, is able to provide almost any service, including the design of large data centers.
AzEduNet LLC started its activity in 2008 as an internet service provider, as well as an ICT service provider. The company's communication equipment is installed on almost all automatic telephone exchanges in Azerbaijan, that is, the zone practically covers the entire territory of the country.
