The number of users registered in the ASANPay system in April 2021 made up 500,418, a source in the Azerbaijan Electronic Government Development Center told Trend on Apr.8.
"Through a personal account in this system, our citizens can receive information about fines issued by the State Traffic Police, information about a technical inspection of a car, free SMS and electronic notifications about a technical inspection and the availability of protocols and view payment history and connect auto payments,” the source said. “Besides, drivers three times within one day can receive a protocol on an administrative offense; in a special section, you can file a complaint against an administrative protocol.”
According to the source, at present, more than 300 organizations are integrated into the ASAN Pay system, including central and local executive authorities, judicial authorities, legal entities of public law, legal entities, private organizations and payment service providers.
"These structures provide citizens with more than 670 services, covering administrative fines, duties, taxes and customs payments, utility bills, communications payments, court payments, credit and lease payments, insurance payments, payments for education, Internet and cable TV, and a number of other services ", the source noted.
The payments can be also made without registering in the system.
The ASANPay system is managed by the Center for the Development of Electronic Government under the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovation under the President of Azerbaijan. Currently, over 10,000 terminals, asanpay.az website and a mobile application on iOS and Android operating systems are operated by the system.
