BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 31. The income of Azerbaijani Azercosmos' OJSC from the export of satellite and telecommunication services amounted to $3.6 million from January through February 2023, the country's Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication told Trend.

The export of services accounted for 80 percent of the total income of the company.

"In February 2023 alone Azercosmos exported its services worth $1.8 million to 39 countries," said the center.

During the reporting period, Azercosmos OJSC exported satellite and telecommunication services to the UK ($813,300), Luxembourg ($698,300), France ($534,100), UAE ($294,800), and Germany ($169,400).

The company owns two communication satellites – Azerspace-1 and Azerspace-2, as well as the low-orbit Azersky satellite.

In 2022, the income of Azercosmos OJSC from the sale of satellite and telecommunication services amounted to $26.6 million.
