Azerbaijan took part at the Intel annual summit

Azerbaijan took part at the annual world summit of Intel Corporation Intel Solutions Summit, which took place in Greece. Local IT Company ULTRA arrived from Azerbaijan. It has presented at the summit new production and technologies that it introduced at the local markets, the ULTRA company head, Tahir Mirkishili told Trend.

The summit has attracted more than 200 large companies specializing in the IT maintenance in different countries of the world.

ULTRA, which has a status of Intel Premier Provider

, presented a new Sigma cooperation concept in Azerbaijan in March. Sigma concept- is a program of Intel and Ultra joint cooperation, the basic element of which is UCP (University Compass Program) implementation in the high educational institutions of Azerbaijan. It is designed to introduce the modern IT technologies in the educational area. ULTRA in pair with Intel already held Days of Intel computer knowledge in 5 universities of the country in 2005. More than 250,000 students in the country had a chance to meet the new Intel developments in the realm of IT technology.
