The Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan is going to apply postal money transfers with Japan and France on MTF/STEFI system. Talks are actively held in this direction, Trend reports quoting the same ministry.
The difficulty in realization of this project with Japan is linked with the issue that this country carries out such operations with countries which have ratified an agreement with the World Post Union on postal payments. Azerbaijan is going to resolve this question in the near future, told at the ministry.
At the moment, Azerbaijan realizes money transfers with United Arabic Emirates from 2006 and with Moldova, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and Kazakhstan from September of last year.
