Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend /Due to begin in the summer season,Azercell Telecom Azerbaijani mobile operator announced its '1001 hediyye' (1001 Prize) prize campaign. The subscribers will win one super tuning BMW motor-car, fifty laptops, or free call time for over 650,000 subscribers.
The campaign will run through 1 June - 31 August, 2007. All those who are Azercell subscribers (subscribers of Azercell invoice system, SimSim, GencSim and Bizden Bize) can take part in the campaign. Contestants have to buy a pre-payment cart with the '1001 hediyye' logo on it. Each subscriber with a '1001 hediyye' pre-payment card becomes a campaign participant.
Prizes include:
-1 super tuning BMW motor-car,
-50 Acer Ferrari 5002WLMi laptops,
-150 JVC GZ-MG130AS video cameras,
-300 SonyEricsson Walkman W880i mobile phones,
-500 Apple iPod Nano 2Gb MP3i music players,
- AZN 20 pre-payment carts (2,500), AZN 40 pre-payment cards (2,000), AZN 100 pre-payment cards (370), and AZN 200 pre-payment cards (150).
- 360-call unit cards (485), 1000-call unit cards (71,500), 2,500-call unit cards (83,000), 5,500-call unit cards (7,500), and 11,500-call unit cards (3,200).
Odeme and SimSim pre-payment cards have special numbers on their surface under a layer of paint and a prize space. Erasing the paint, one can find out whether the card is a winner or not. Winning cards display one of the following inscriptions - AVTOMOBIL (motor-car), KOMPYUTER (computer), VIDEOKAMERA (video camera), TELEFON (mobile phone), PLEYER (player), x MANAT BALANSA HEDIYYE (prize call time, which will correspond to the value of the Odeme card), and x KONTUR HEDIYYE (prize call units corresponding to the value of the SimSim card). If the card is a losing one you will find BIR DAHA SINAYIN (try again, please).
Those who win the main prizes of the campaign have to submit the winning cards by 31 January, 2008 to the central office of the Azercell Telecom in Baku or to the Azercell Service Offices in the regions or to an Azercell Ekspress office. Azercell will present the prizes within thirty days after the submission of the card.
Every person who wins call time will be able to download it to the Azercell GSM number via 650СELL service. Those who win call units will be able to download them via 1001CELL or 101CELL services. Today, the number of Azercell's subscribers exceeds 2.5 mln. The company covers 78% of the territory and 99% of the population of Azerbaijan with its mobile communication network.
Azercell JSC was established on 19 January 1996 by Turkcell Iletisim Hizmetleri A.S. and the Azerbaijan Ministry of Telecommunications.
Azercell Telekom is a joint venture of the Azerbaijani Telecommunication and IT Ministry (35.7%) and Fintur Holdings BV (64.3 %), with 58.55% belonging to TeliaSonera and 41.45% to Turkcell.
