Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. S.Babayeva / Craig Mundie, the Senior Vice President and Technical Director of Microsoft Corporation, will pay a one-day visit to Baku.
The representatives of the Corporation to Azerbaijan reported on 5 June that within the framework of the visit on 7 June, there are plans to meet with the Azerbaijani Communication and Information Technology Ministry to discuss the current situation regarding information communication equipment in the country and the prospects of co-operation in future.
The Azerbaijani private IT companies will also hold meetings with Mundie.
Mundie works under Bill Gates, Chairman of the Corporation and they jointly work on the strategic plans of the Microsoft Corporation in the field of technology, business and policy.
Mundie co-ordinates the plans between different groups of makers of products within the Corporation. He works mainly on the architecture of platforms for the internet, the development of Microsoft NET, as well as technical and political problems to protect the structure of the IT technology by the Trustworthy Computing system.
Craig Mundie has been working at Microsoft Corporation since 1992.
