Kazakhstan resuming passenger train runs on local routes

Kazakhstan is resuming railway passenger trains operation on seven more domestic routes, Trend reports with reference to the press office of Kazakhstan Railways.

The trains will resume operations over the period from June 10, 2020.

Trains operating on Nur-Sultan - Nurly Zhol - Atyrau route will be resumed on Jun. 11 (from Nur-Sultan) and from Jun. 12 (from Atyrau).

Trains operating on Almaty-2 - Atyrau route will be resumed on Jun. 11 (from Almaty) and from Jun. 12 (from Atyrau).

Trains operating on Atyrau - Nur-Sultan - Nurly Zhol route will be resumed on Jun. 11 (from Atyrau) and from Jun. 13 (from Nurly Zhol).

Trains operating on Nur-Sultan-Nurly Zhol - Uralsk route will be resumed on Jun. 10 (from Nur-Sultan) and from Jun. 11 (from Uralsk).

Trains operating on Atyrau - Mangystau route will be resumed on Jun. 10 (from Atyrau) and from Jun. 11 (from Mangystau).

Trains operating on Aktobe - Atyrau route will be resumed on Jun. 10 (from Aktobe) and from Jun. 11 (from Atyrau).

Trains operating on Atyrau - Almaty-1 route will be resumed on Jun. 11 (from Atyrau) and from Jun. 13 (from Almaty-1).

The first two cases of coronavirus infection were detected in Kazakhstan among those who arrived in Almaty city from Germany on March 13, 2020.

The total number of coronavirus cases confirmed in Kazakhstan since the virus was first confirmed in the country amounted to 12,067 cases. This includes 6,240 people who recovered from the coronavirus, and 48 patients who passed away.
