Azerbaijan imported 47,841 cars from January through October 2020, which is 19.6 percent more compared to the same period of 2019, Trend reports via a report of the State Customs Committee (SCC).
In the past eleven months of 2020, the number of passenger cars reached 39,853, showing a growth of 10.5 percent year on year.
Some 223 vehicles with a capacity of 10 people and more, including electric cars were imported.
“The number of imported trucks also decreased by 1.8 percent, amounting to 3,203 units. In addition, the number of imported special purpose vehicles was 137 units,” said the report.
At the same time, the value of imported vehicles for 11M2020 totaled $576.18 million.
