The number of containers transported along the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars (BTK) railway corridor from January through September 2021 considerably grew, the subsidiary of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC - ADY Container LLC told Trend on Oct.11.
According to the LLC, this indicator made up 17,635 TEU containers, which is an increase of 9,598 containers or 84 percent compared to the first nine months of last year.
"During the reporting period, cargoes have been mainly transported along the China – Turkey, Central Asia - Turkey routes and in the opposite direction," added the company.
