BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 19. The number of passenger planes flying over Iran increased by 57 percent, over the last Iranian year (March 21, 2021 through March 20, 2022), compared to the preceding Iranian year (March 20, 2020 through March 20, 2021), as was reflected in the statistics of Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company (IAC), Trend reports.
According to the statistics, more than 168,000 passenger planes flew over Iran within the last Iranian year, while in the preceding Iranian year, this figure stood at over 107,000.
