BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 23. Container freight shipping from Kazakhstan to Europe through Azerbaijan and vice versa increased by 2.3 times from January through October 22, ADY Container LLC, a subsidiary of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC, told Trend.
In the reporting period, transit transport of 13,828 containers from Kazakhstan were carried out through Azerbaijan.
"Out of the total volume, 9,292 containers are 20-foot containers, 4,505 are 40-foot containers, and 13 containers are 45-foot containers," the LLC said.
From January through October 2021, 5,936 containers were transported in the mentioned directions.
