BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 19. The volume of cargo transported via Iranian airports domestically dropped by 5 percent in the first seven months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through October 22, 2023), compared to the same period last year, Trend reports.
According to data from the Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company (IAC), more than 147,000 tons of goods were transported domestically via Iran's airports over the period of seven months.
Meanwhile, the figure in the same period previous Iranian year exceeded 155,000 tons.
