BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 24. Polish GreenEvo (Green Technology Accelerator) of the Ministry of Climate and Environment can create conditions for dynamic development of cooperation with Central Asia in the field of clean energy and technologies, the source at the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology of Poland told Trend.

According to the ministry, green technologies and environmental projects are currently a global priority, also within the framework of the EU's economic agenda with Central Asia. This was confirmed, among others, by 1st EU-AC Economic Forum held in Bishkek in November 2021.

"The issues of green economy, hydropower and water management, waste management and others were discussed there. Poland and Polish entrepreneurs intend to actively participate in these processes, e.g. through the planned implementation of specific projects in the field of solar energy, municipal and housing management and water management, development of ecological agriculture and fertilizers," the source said.

As the ministry noted, the countries of Central Asia report interest in cooperation in this area, in particular in obtaining effective equipment and environmental technologies (treatment plants, waste management, RES, air protection).

"The Polish offer, in particular represented by Polish entrepreneurs-winners of the Green Technology Accelerator Program (GreenEvo), responds to this demand and creates conditions for in this field," the source said.
