Kazakhstan, Astana, 2 July / Trend corr. K.Konirova / Chairmanship in the OSCE in 2010 will give Kazakhstan a chance to strengthen its brand in international arena, Alexander Stubb, acting Chairman in OSCE and Foreign Minister of Finland, said.
" Kazakhstan is a large and strategically important country in the Central Asia with international orientation," Stubb said in the OSCE PA 17th plenary session.
While the OSCE was established it united only 32 counties, and over 66 countries have become its member within the latest 30 years. "The fact that OSCE will be chaired by the country, which did not have independence, while OSCE was established, demonstrates that the organization welcomes the current changes in world," Stubb stated.
