In Kazakhstan, about 13bn tenge (the current exchange rate is 147.11 tenge per one dollar) will be allocated from the state budget to fight religious extremism next year, BBC reported.

In all, 12.9bn tenge will be allocated to the Kazakh Interior Ministry in 2012 to fight religious extremism. The relevant figures are fixed in the country's draft budget for 2012-14, says a document circulated at a Majlis meeting [parliament's lower house] in Astana today.
