The Bureau of Kazakh Majilis (lower chamber of the parliament) has registered factions of the political parties who joined the country's legislative body as a result of recent parliamentary elections, press-service of Majilis said on Monday.

'Members of the Majilis elected to parliament from Nur Otan, Ak Zhol and the Communist People's Party of Kazakhstan have appealed to the chamber's bureau to register their factions in the Majilis which was unanimously supported by the bureau members', the statement said.

In accordance with the regulations of the Majilis of the Kazakh parliament, MPs are entitled to create deputy associations in the form of factions of political parties.
Leaders of all three factions are also included on the Majilis bureau.

Parliamentary elections in Kazakhstan were held on Jan.15. Three parties joined the parliament when Nur Otan received 83 seats, Ak Zhol , eight and the Communist People's Party of Kazakhstan , seven.
