Kazakh ambassador to Poland, Erik Utembayev presented his credentials to President of Poland Bronislaw Komorowski, the country's Foreign Ministry said on Monday.
After presenting credentials, a conversation was held during which the head of Polish government said there are good prospects for further expansion of cooperation in political, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
Komorowski stressed Kazakhstan's significant contribution to strengthening security in Central Asia and stabilization of the situation in Afghanistan.
He said Warsaw considers Kazakhstan as an important partner in the Eurasian space and an attractive market for Polish investments.
The sides stressed the great potential for expanding trade and economic relations, opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation in energy, transport and transit sector.
Utembayev stressed Kazakhstan's interest in joint work on technology transfer, in Polish experience of supporting small and medium enterprises, development of local self-government.
