Mi-8 helicopter crew of Regional directorate Coast Guard Border Service of National Security Committee(NSC) of Kazakhstan detected border violators - 2 small boats such as "canoe" in the territorial waters of the Caspian Sea.
To the legitimate demands of border guards to stop, boats did not respond, but on the contrary, attempted to escape outside the territorial waters of Kazakhstan at high speed and dangerous maneuvers, said in the Border Guard Service of the NSC of Kazakhstan.
Helicopter stoped with a weapon engines of boats: engines were damaged, pursued small boats were stopped.
On board two "Canoe" were seven Russian citizens, two of them were wounded. The wounded have been lifted on board the ship "Egemen", where they had first aid, then they were taken to the regional hospital in Atyrau and were operated.
The other five violators of the state border were arrested. Russian citizens were detained under consideration of a criminal case under Art. 330 Part 2 of the Criminal Code (deliberate violation of the state border of the Republic of Kazakhstan).
