Kazakh Foreign Minister to visit Germany

The visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Yerlan Idrisov to Germany is planned for the period from January 30 to February 3, the deputy chairman of the International Information Committee and official representative of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry Zhanbolat Usenov said.

The visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Yerlan Idrisov to Germany is planned for the period from January 30 to February 3, the deputy chairman of the International Information Committee and official representative of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry Zhanbolat Usenov said.

"A number of bilateral meetings and in particular with the advisor of the Federal Chancellor for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Christoph Heusgen, Vice-Chancellor, Federal Minister of Economics and Technology Philipp Roesler, Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle, chairman of the Eastern Committee of German Economy Eckhard Cordes, and negotiations with representatives of political and business circles of Germany are planned within the visit," Usenov said.

According to him, the main topics of the talks with the German side are the strengthening of bilateral Kazakh-German cooperation in order to conclude a treaty on strategic partnership, practical implementation of the intergovernmental agreement on partnership in resource, industrial and technological developments and agreements reached at the highest level, as well as facilitating a visa system for citizens of Kazakhstan.

During his visit to Germany, Yerlan Idrisov also plans to participate in a session of the Berlin Eurasian Club.
