Kazakh Majilis (Parliament's lower chamber) approved amendments on labor migration at a plenary session on Wednesday, Majilis press-service reported.
"The bill is aimed at legalization of migrant workers. The document will simplify permits for hiring foreigners by physical entities," the press-service said.
Moreover, the bill introduces personal income tax on income received by immigrants while working for physical entities who are not tax agents.
"The bill will increase the efficiency of migration control over the foreigners in the country and increase revenues," Majilis press-service said.
