ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, May 6. The construction sector in Turkmenistan is outperforming expectations by surpassing its production targets from January through April this year, Trend reports.
According to the official source, this was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Government of Turkmenistan Baymyrat Annamamedov at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
According to him, the plan for the production and execution of works in the construction and industrial complex in the first four months of this year was exceeded at a level of 22.5 percent.
Furthermore, Annamamedov added that during the reporting period, the Ministry of Construction and Architecture of Turkmenistan exceeded the plan by 7.3 percent and the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production by 1.5 percent.
Meanwhile, Turkmenistan's construction sector has experienced notable growth in recent years, buoyed by robust state backing for infrastructure initiatives and the influx of foreign investments.
