Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin held a meeting of the Board of Directors of JSC Baiterek National Managing Holding, Trend reports referring to the Kazakh government.
A decision was made to merge the Fund of Financial Support for Agriculture JSC with the Agrarian Credit Corporation JSC following the order of Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to reduce the number of subsidiaries of the Holding.
The functions of the Fund of Financial Support for Agriculture JSC for lending to microbusiness, insurance in crop production, and the functions of an agent for the "Rural mortgage" within the "To the village with a diploma" project will be transferred to the Agrarian Credit Corporation JSC, the functions of the Fund of Financial Support for Agriculture JSC on guaranteeing loans will be transferred to the "Damu" Entrepreneurship Development Fund.
The reorganization will allow agricultural producers to receive loans on the basis of the “single window” principle based on the wide branch network of the Agrarian Credit Corporation JSC. At the same time, the current conditions for financing entities of the agro-industrial complex will be preserved.
The participants of the meeting approved the report on risks for the second quarter of the current year, as well as changes and additions to the Regulations on the Management Board, Board of Directors, Corporate Secretary, and the Corporate Secretary Service of the Holding.
