Kazakh PM talks recovery of business activity in service sector

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Nov. 10

A recovery in business activity of Kazakhstan was recorded in the services sector with growth up to 3.4 percent due to high dynamics in communications and trade due to gradual quarantine reliefs, Kazakhstan’s Prime Minister Askar Mamin said at a meeting of the government, Trend reports citing Kazakh media.

According to Mamin, construction industry is also developing steadily, and an increase of business activity amounting to 7.6 percent has been recorded in this sector.

Mamin noted that 11.6 million square meters of housing have been commissioned in the country in 10 months, which is 7.9 percent more than last year.

Also, according to the results of 10M2021, all the main macro-indicators have shown growth in Almaty, Zhambyl regions, Nur-Sultan and Shymkent.

At the same time, an increase of business activity was recorded in nine regions in six main indicators. These are Akmola, Aktobe, Atyrau, East Kazakhstan, Kostanay, Mangistau, Pavlodar, Turkestan regions and Almaty.

In addition, positive dynamics is observed for five indicators in two regions. These are Kyzylorda and North Kazakhstan regions.

The smallest indicators were recorded in the Karaganda and West Kazakhstan regions.
