BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 6. Kazakhstan's quota for oil production in June 2022 was determined, Trend reports citing Kazinform.

This was reported by the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan.

A meeting of the joint ministerial monitoring committee and the 28th OPEC+ ministerial meeting were held in the format of a videoconference. Kazakhstan was represented at the meeting by Energy Minister Bolat Akchulakov.

It was decided to continue increasing the current level of oil production by OPEC+ countries by 432,000 barrels per day monthly until the restrictions are completely lifted.

"Kazakhstan's obligations for June 2022 will amount to 1.65 million barrels per day. The period of compensation for overfulfilled volumes remains the end of June 2022," reported to the Ministry of Energy.

Furthermore, since September 2021, the quota has been increased by 400,000 barrels per day.
