BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 12. Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov held a meeting with the CEO of Al Badie Group for Trading and Investment (ABG) Khaled Mohammed Al Badie, at which issues of cooperation in the field of road construction were discussed, Trend reports via the press service of Kazakh Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov.
During the meeting, the CEO of the company expressed ABG's intention to finance and implement major road projects in Kazakhstan, including the modernization of a number of highways.
At the moment, there is a growing interest of Arab investors in Kazakhstan, which was facilitated by the recent visit of the Head of state to the UAE, Smailov stressed.
He noted that Kazakhstan highly appreciates every offer of foreign partners and remains committed to all its obligations to protect investments and ensure a favorable business climate.
Following the meeting, the Prime Minister said that the company's proposals will be carefully studied and worked out by the relevant government agencies.
