Kazakhstan boosts kerosene production

BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 24. Kazakhstan's kerosene output amounted to 49,400 tons in July 2022, down by 28.7 percent against July 2021 and 16.1 percent less compared to June 2022, Trend reports citing the Committee on Statistics of Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

According to the agency, the country's kerosene production totaled 410,000 tons from January through July 2022, which was 23 percent more than the same period of 2021.

In the reporting period, Kazakhstan imported 39,673 tons of kerosene, down by 7.1 percent compared to the same period of 2021.

The country exported 1,367 tons of kerosene in July 2022, increasing three times compared to the same month of 2021 and by 12.8 percent compared to June 2022.

Kazakh export of kerosene in the first seven months of 2022 equaled 5,122 tons, which was 56.7 percent less than in the same period in 2021.

In July 2022, 58,082 tons of kerosene were sold in the domestic market of Kazakhstan, decreasing by 21.3 percent compared to the same month of 2021 and 13 percent against June 2022.

The kerosene sale of the country stood at 444,551 tons from January through July 2022, up by 22.1 percent year on year.
