BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 22. The Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan plans to prolong the price cap for octane 80 petrol at 89 Kazakh tenge ($0.19) per liter in Kostanay and North-Kazakhstan regions, octane 92 petrol at 187 Kazakh tenge ($0.40) in the above-mentioned regions, Trend reports, citing the press service of the Ministry.
Octane 92 fuel will cost slightly less in other regions of the country, with a price set at 182 Kazakh tenge ($0.39) per liter.
Meanwhile, diesel fuel maximum prices have been set at 450 Kazakh tenge ($0.96). Holders of a driving license issued by Kazakhstan will have to pay 230-260 Kazakh tenge ($0.49-$0.56) depending on the region for a maximum of 100 liters per day.
Trucks, specialized vehicles, and buses can also purchase up to 300 liters per day for 230-260 Kazakh tenge ($0.49-$0.56) on the condition of being issued a vehicle registration certificate in Kazakhstan.
Diesel fuel will be sold at 450 Kazakh tenge ($0.96) per liter above the specified limits and for consumers of other categories.
