BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 7. Kazakhstan issued 65,554 loans with a total worth of 873.6 billion Kazakh tenge ($1.87 billion) in the framework of the “7-20-25” mortgage program, Trend reports, citing the press service of the National Bank of Kazakhstan.

Residents of Astana received 23,130 loans worth around 359.5 billion Kazakh tenge ($773.5 million), and Kazakh citizens inhabiting Almaty were granted 13,055 loans amounting to 199.7 billion Kazakh tenge ($429.6 million).

Meanwhile, 5,034 people residing in Shymkent were allocated 60.9 billion Kazakh tenge ($131 million) to improve their living conditions.

The program is aimed at improving the living conditions of Kazakh citizens by providing opportunities for purchasing real estate with accessible loan terms.

In December 2022, the government announced that the “7-20-25” program will be continued.
