BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 13. Trade turnover between Kazakhstan and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) reached $25.58 billion from January through November 2022, Trend reports, citing the press service of the Bureau of National Statistics of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of Kazakhstan.

This constitutes a growth of 7.1 percent compared to 11M2021.

The export of goods amounted to $8.63 billion, which is an increase of 22.3 percent, while import figures reached $16.95 billion. This is an increase of 0.7 percent.

In terms of Kazakhstan’s general volume of external trade turnover with the EAEU countries, Russia is the leading partner of Kazakhstan, with 92.3 percent,

Kyrgyzstan is a distant second with only a 4 percent share of trade.

Meanwhile, the shares of Belarus and Armenia amount to 3.6 percent and 0.1 percent respectively.
