BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 30. Kazakhstan ranked 37th among the world's most competitive economies in 2023, Trend reports.
This was indicated in the recent ranking prepared by IMD World Competitiveness (Lausanne, Switzerland), reflecting the level of competitiveness among the world's economies. The study evaluates factors such as "Economic Performance," "Government Efficiency," "Business Efficiency," and "Infrastructure."
The Republic of Kazakhstan has demonstrated positive dynamics, climbing six positions compared to last year's ranking. As a result, Kazakhstan now holds the 37th position with a score of 66.11 in the 2023 IMD World Competitiveness Ranking.
This year, the ranking was expanded to include 64 countries, with Kuwait being listed for the first time. Denmark emerged as the leader of the ranking, followed by Ireland, Switzerland, Singapore, and the Netherlands, which rounded out the top five countries.
The ranking is based on a comprehensive study that encompasses 257 indicators. More than two-thirds of these indicators are derived from statistical data, while the remaining one-third is obtained through surveys.
