ASTANA, Kazakhstan, September 16. Oil refineries of Kazakhstan will supply over 420,000 tons of diesel fuel to the regions of the country for harvesting work, Trend reports.
"In accordance with the schedule approved by the Ministries of Energy and Agriculture for assigning regions to refineries for harvesting work in 2023, the planned volume of diesel fuel shipments will be 426,000 tons to 18 regions of the country. At the same time, the Atyrau, Shymkent and Pavlodar refineries are operating as normal, meeting the needs of agricultural producers as a priority," said the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan.
As noted in the Ministry of Energy, diesel fuel is shipped in a timely manner, in accordance with operators’ requests.
"The price of diesel fuel for agricultural producers is 250 tenge (about $0.53) per liter, which is 18 percent lower than the price at gas stations (295 tenge/liter or about $0.63).
The total reserves of diesel fuel at oil depots, in transit and at refineries are sufficient and meet the country's 31-day requirement.
