ASTANA, Kazakhstan, September 18. Mastercard plans to promote Kazakhstani GovTech solutions abroad, especially in developing and emerging markets, Trend reports.
Mastercard Executive Vice President Nicola Villa said this during a meeting with the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
As a Mastercard representative noted, other countries where the company operates are actively interested in Kazakhstan’s experience in the fields of digitalization, the development of e-government, and the cashless economy.

Together with the National Bank of Kazakhstan, work is underway to provide expert and technological support as part of the implementation of the Digital Tenge, Instant Payment System, and Open Banking projects.
These and other initiatives were reflected in the Digital Country Partnership (DCP) Framework Agreement, signed between the Ministry of Digital Development and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan and Mastercard during Tokayev's working visit to New York.
